PLAYSTATION, XBOX & NINTENDO
Get back in the game.
A console that powers on without a picture, overheats or stops charging does not have to leave you guessing. Normal Gadgets offers gaming console repair assessments in Bloomington-Normal for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and other supported systems. Bring your system in and let us review the symptoms and repair options.

HDMI ports and no-picture problems
A damaged HDMI connector is one possible cause of a missing picture, but cables, television inputs and other hardware can also be involved. Tell us what appears on the screen and whether the port has been damaged. We assess HDMI issues, including supported PlayStation and Xbox port repairs.
Power, cooling and storage issues
We assess systems that will not power on, shut down during use, run loudly or have other performance problems. Available services include internal dust cleanup, cooling-related work, fan replacement, storage-related repairs and software troubleshooting, depending on the system and diagnosis.
Nintendo Switch and handheld repairs
We also assess supported handheld systems for screen damage, charging problems, batteries and joystick issues. Tell us the exact model and whether the problem affects the handheld, dock or controller. Older systems require a model-specific review of available repair options and parts.
Tell us about your saves before work starts
If saved games or other data are important, raise that before authorizing repairs. Storage replacement and some troubleshooting procedures can affect local data. Back up or sync supported saves when you can. Bring accessories related to the fault, and ask our team what to include before your visit.
Questions before you visit?
Do you repair Gaming Console HDMI ports?
We assess Console HDMI problems and offer port repair where appropriate. A no-picture symptom can have several causes, so the console may need a diagnostic assessment first.
Do you work on Xbox and Nintendo Switch?
Yes. We fix Xbox and Nintendo Switch systems, with repairs depending on the model, fault and part availability. We can also review other supported consoles and handhelds.
My console turns on but the TV says no signal. Is the port broken?
Possibly, but that message alone does not identify the fault. If you can safely do so, note whether another known-working HDMI cable and television input behave the same way. Do not force a damaged connector.
Can you fix overheating or a loud fan?
We can assess cooling concerns and explain whether cleaning, a fan replacement or another repair is appropriate. Tell us whether the system shuts down, displays a warning or becomes unusually noisy.
What does console repair cost?
Cost depends on the model, diagnosis and parts. Bring the system in for an assessment, and ask about any diagnostic charge, repair estimate, expected turnaround and applicable warranty.
