YOUR LOCAL PHONE REPAIR SHOP
Let’s get your SmartPhone back to normal.
A cracked screen, a battery that will not last or a phone that only charges at an angle can interrupt your whole day. Normal Gadgets helps customers in Bloomington-Normal understand what is wrong with their SmartPhones and choose a practical next step. Our locally owned electronics repair shop has served the community since 2012.
SmartPhone problems we can assess
Bring in your SmartPhone for help with cracked screens, display or touch problems, battery issues, charging ports, cameras, speakers, microphones and buttons. We also assess software problems, boot looping and liquid damage. Back-glass repair is available for select models. Tell us your model and symptoms so we can review the appropriate options.
Charging trouble does not always mean a new battery
If the cable works only in one position, the connection, cable or port may need attention. Bring your usual charging cable and adapter when possible. Avoid forcing a connector into the port or digging inside with a metal tool. We can inspect the device before recommending a repair.
A clear plan before you decide
Repair cost depends on the SmartPhone model, the damage and the parts required. Bring your phone to the shop for a quote or diagnostic assessment. Ask about any diagnostic fee, part availability, expected turnaround and applicable warranty before authorizing work.
Before you bring your SmartPhone in
Back up your phone if you can still use it. Note when the problem started and whether the phone was dropped, exposed to liquid or recently updated. If you cannot access your data, tell us before approving a reset or replacement. Data recovery depends on the condition of the device and cannot be guaranteed.
Questions before you visit?
How much does SmartPhone repair cost?
We quote based on your exact model and the problem. Bring your phone in or call 309-807-3333 with the model and symptoms. A diagnostic assessment may be needed before we can give an accurate price.
Can you replace my SmartPhone battery?
We assess battery concerns and offer battery replacement where appropriate. Poor battery life can have more than one cause, so tell us about overheating, unexpected shutdowns or charging problems too.
Do I need an appointment?
You can visit our Bloomington shop during business hours or use our appointment page to arrange a visit. Call ahead if you need to confirm availability for a particular model or repair.
Will a repair erase my photos?
Tell us that preserving your photos and other data is a priority. Back up first whenever possible. Some faults or repair procedures can put data at risk, so discuss this with our team before work begins.
Can you fix an SmartPhone with liquid damage?
We can assess liquid-damaged devices, but the extent of internal damage varies. Repair and data recovery are not guaranteed. Do not charge a device that may still be wet; bring it in for an assessment.
